Where is your heart?

Passage: Ephesians 4:19

Bible Text: Ephesians 4:19 | Preacher: Tony Bittner | Series: Ephesians | Today’s sermon was not recorded. The primary text was Eph. 4:19 “Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.”

The danger of nurturing sin is that our hearts will become callous. David seemed to come pretty close in 2 Samuel 11, but when confronted by Nathan, the LORD’s prophet, David demonstrated why he was described as a man after God’s own heart. He penned Psalm 51! If we lose the ability to see God for who he is and see ourselves for who we actually are, we will lose all sensitivity toward the Lord.

In Ephesians, Paul urges his readers to not live that way.
